This is the enlarged and revised edition of the original written in 1954. It contains drawings and descriptions by Douglas Rolfe with some additional ones by Don Berliner and Mel Klapholz. There is a historical introduction by Alexis Dawydoff. It is divided into twelve chapters covering the years 1490 through 1976 and contains 456 indexed pages. There are many b/w illustrations throughout. The condition is very good. The pages are free of all marks, tears and folds. There are no signatures. The green hard cover has a black cloth spine stamped in sliver. The cover is clean on front but has some slight soiling on back. The corners are sharp and the binding is tight.
