Barnard and illustrated by Elsie Anna Wood. The book was published by Friendship Press in 1928 and appears to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. It is a book in their The Nursery Series. The book is NOT an ex-library copy (though it does have the name and address of a previous owner blackened out on the front loose end page) - and the book is in good condition (particularly for its age) with no dust jacket. The book is 4 3/8" by 5 1/2" and has about 65 pages with a paragraph of the story told on the left page and a three - or four - color illustration on the right page. Thank you!
