Rather heavy wear to binding, with open tears to bumped extremities, fraying to edges, sunning, faint staining, and surface scratching to cloth, and both inner hinges cracking and reinforced with archival adhesive. Binding remains quite firm and sound. Book Sale 1992 stamp to front free endpaper, with old inked price. Pages are clean and unmarked. Illustrated in photographic illustrations and figures throughout.
