First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Very good. First edition. 12p, many photos and other ills., many in color. A student publication that spoofs the promotional coupon books once issued by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority ("the MBTA is not affiliated in the creation of, nor responsible for this publication"). Apparently created by young Boston artists: at least one of the contributors graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and the content takes special aim at the Green Line subway/trolley line, on which the SMFA is located. With a purported map of the Green Line system, an ad for "suggested T reading," news notes ("man waits 35 years for Green Line, dies on platform"), and the like. Also with a surprisingly sober round-up of four actors with debilitating diseases and how to donate to help spread awareness and cures for them. The center spread is an advertisement for the Free MBTA Petting Zoo--"Just get on the Green Line" and you too can share in the lives of pigeons, cockroaches, and rats (all drawn in close-up detail). Probably the only issue of this art school humor magazine, and scarce. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
