An approx. 200 word typed letter, dated August 1952 and signed in ink by Woolf - an effusive and typically kind request to Constantine Fitzgibbon asking for permission to name him as the author of an uncredited Times Literary Supplement article on Douglas, and presenting him with a copy of the (very rare) catalogue of the 'Memorial Exhibition Catalogue of Works by Norman Douglas' (Edinburgh Central Library - July 1952 - one of only 200 copies made). TOGETHER WITH A signed presentation copy of the bibliography inscribed to Fitzgibbon and dated March 1954. The catalogue is 8vo in stapled stiff card covers, 8pp with a brief intro by Moray McLaren who co-curated with Woolf. The book is a 1st Edition and 1st printing. 8vo in rust red faux cloth, gilt lettering to spine. 201pp, index etc . [CONDITION: The letter is moderately tanned, the exhibition catalogue is VERY GOOD (covers are tanned and slightly dusty). The book is near FINE (pages a little tanned) in a spine tanned and slightly dusty but otherwise VERY GOOD+ priced dust jacket (very small chips to spine ends, looks very presentable in its removable transparent protector) ] . . .
