First edition SIGNED: Very close to fine and bright in like dustjacket with an affectionate inscription by the author on the first flyleaf signed, "Doug & Sandy" which also includes the author's home address.

First edition SIGNED One of only 50 signed uncommon cloth copies issued without dustjacket. This edition is fine and tight with bright unread text. Signed by Woolf along with his address at the time of publication. An excellent writer. New and bright all around, gift quality.

An approx. 200 word typed letter, dated August 1952 and signed in ink by Woolf - an effusive and typically kind request to Constantine Fitzgibbon asking for permission to name him as the author of an uncredited Times Literary Supplement article on Douglas, and presenting him with a copy of the (very rare) catalogue of the 'Memorial Exhibition Catalogue of Works by Norman Douglas' (Edinburgh Central Library - July 1952 - one of only 200 copies made). TOGETHER WITH A signed presentation copy of the bibliography inscribed to Fitzgibbon and dated March 1954. The catalogue is 8vo in stapled stiff card covers, 8pp with a brief intro by Moray McLaren who co-curated with Woolf. The book is a 1st Edition and 1st printing. 8vo in rust red faux cloth, gilt lettering to spine. 201pp, index etc . [CONDITION: The letter is moderately tanned, the exhibition catalogue is VERY GOOD (covers are tanned and slightly dusty). The book is near FINE (pages a little tanned) in a spine tanned and slightly dusty but otherwise VERY GOOD+ priced dust jacket (very small chips to spine ends, looks very presentable in its removable transparent protector) ] . . .
