Hoebe, 1913. 8vo, ix [i], 188 p., bound in publisher's dark blue cloth with paper labels to spine and front board, with title incorrectly spelled on both labels. First US edition of this screed against the evils of suffragism, with chapters on women's 'disabilities' in the matter of physical force, intellect and public morality, capped off with a juvenile letter on the perils of 'militant hysteria' in the Appendix. Corners and spine tips chafed, spine labels stained and chipped; book slightly cocked, else VG overall. OCLC locates no copies of the US edition.
