Equally scarce amongst institutional holdings (corresponds to OCLC Nos. 932863435, 1087115398). Rare indeed. This volume is in the main, a reprint of articles that appeared in the Mount Forest Confederate during the year 1927, as a humble contribution, in a local and individual way, to the Diamond Jubilee of Confederation. It notes briefly our great Canadian celebration. It preserves, in more detail, some account of the history of the little home paper that had the honor to be founded in the year of Confederation, and to derive its name from that auspicious circumstance. Above all it aims to commemorate, in convenient form, the names and some of the achievements of as many of the Pioneers of the community, and of its War Heroes as it was practical to compile in the time and space at one's disposal.
