Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Original Edition. These lectures were delivered under the auspices of the Harvey Society of New York. The lectures included in this volume were on the topics of the principles of vaccine therapy, the common bacteriological infections of the digestive tract and the intoxications arising therefrom, vasomotor relations, the myelins and potential fluid crystals of the body, the factors of safety in animal structure and animal economy, metabolism during inanition, recent studies in heredity, the genetic interpretation of the variations in the genito-urinary tract, changes in lymphoid tissue in certain of the infectious diseases, and nervous disorders of the heart. Ilustrated. Some pencil marks within the text; exterior marks; edgewear being moreso on the head of the spine. Ex-Library.
