Cloth. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Very Good. Waters, Herbert (illustrator). With 18 Wood Engravings. Very large, thinner heavier book, quality red cloth, gilt title and borders bright at front right and spine, 144 pages. At top of first front end paper in tiny dark blue ink, signed by illustrator "Herbert Waters." DJ heavy paper, peach background, ornate purple illustration of chicadee, acorns, and pine cones at top front. DJ spine lightly browned, tiny chip at spine top left and right edge, spine bottom edge too, 1/4" tear at top back edge, back lightly soiled. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book. Signed by Illustrator(s).

Pages clean and unmarked. Cream/tan dust jackt has two small spots of staining on spine, as well as small closed tears to extremities. Jacket remains intact, with original $2.00 price on front flap. Volume contains 18 original woodcuts by Herbert Waters. An uncommon edition, especially with the jacket. Book.
