The folder is totally intact. Being sold by a long established UK bookseller and not a mass lister, which infers that this scrapbook is just as described with no nasty surprises. A nice gift for someone going to Japan. Kindly note that an overseas order will incur a small amount of extra postage. An excellent copy.

The three volumes are arranged as Text, Photographs, and Scrapbook. The text are writings in English on Japan by academics and journalists from Japan and the United States to provide context for the exhibition. The Photographs volume shows daily life and are assembled in the form of a sutra. The Scrapbook is filled with items familiar to anyone living in the midst of Japanese society, shown in the context in which they are used. The three volumes are all in fine condition and are contained in a slipcase in near fine condition and a red obi with Japanese text wrapped around the slipcase. A beautiful set! Also very heavy and will require additional shipping. 12" x 8-3/4".
