The book is in spotless black cloth boards, with very slightly bumped spine ends, sharp corners. Internally, tanned pages, very tanned to the edges. The bright, unclipped dustjacket is rubbed to the spine ends and tips, creased to the edges, with two tiny closed tears - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve. Introduced by Christopher Isherwood, the book was produced for the Vedanta Society.
