Hardcover. Condition: g. First edition. Small quarto. 231pp. Original brown cloth over boards with gilt stamped lettering on spine and front board. Inscribed by author in English on free front endpaper. Illustrated with b/w and color reproductions of paintings by the author's second husband Samuel Byer. Fascinating autobiography describing a Jewish woman's experiences and those of her family in Russia and America. Minor bumping to head and tale of spine. Gilt, slightly faded. Overall good +.
