Hardback. The law of federal jurisdiction in Australia is difficult, complicated and highly technical. Much of this is due to unthinking copying from the United States Constitution by the Founding Fathers of the Australian Constitution. In very good condition. Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book is a contribution to comparative constitutional law and deals with important changes in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the original members of the present Commonwealth of Nations. It is based on lectures delivered…at the University of Cambridge. The first lecture discusses the development in recent years of the constitutional autonomy of Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and its effect on the constitutions of those countries and on the concept of the 'crown'. The second lecture is concerned with methods to entrench, constitutionally, individual and democratic rights. The final lecture contrasts judicial attitudes to the interpretation of the constitutions of Canada and Australia. The conclusion is reached that although the EEC is not a federation, there is a structural similarity between the distribution of governmental power within the Community and its members, and the federal issues that arise in Canada, Australia and other federations.

We oppose the wholesale slaughter of our non-human brothers and sisters, and it is with them that we stand. Put simply, we oppose the destruction of our home. Our position is simply this: .NO COMPROMISE. WHY NOT? Many of us are frack fighters. fractivists. whatever you wanna call it, that's how we met, that's why we came together, that's what gave us the idea for SMEF! NO FRACKING. Earth First! is a group of radical environmentalists that formed in the American Southwest in the spring of 1980. hardcover. Condition: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that… encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.

Wraps. Condition: Good. No publisher or place or date. Single stapled zine, 8 ½ by 11 inches. 20 pp., including covers. An obscure zine, perhaps associated with the New York artist space ABC No Rio that assembles submissions from contributors that blend clip art, xerox art, collage, poetry and essays. Our speculation about ABC N…o Rio is based on it being purchased with other items from the space and a small anarchist symbol on the second page which appears to have the letters b and c written in the top part of the symbol. Pieces reflect on capitalism and war, how women are treated as sex objects, anti-Reagan musings, gun culture in America, etc. The general tone feels rather apocalyptic, perhaps reflecting the mood of youth in a Reagan administration. GOOD condition. Light toning and edgewear, with offsetting along the edges. Small area of staining at the lower left side. Price request in red marker on the lower front cover. Lower right corner creased and wrinkled.

Wraps. Condition: Good. No publisher or place: 1984. Single stapled zine, 8 ½ by 11 inches. 20 pp., including covers. An obscure zine, perhaps associated with the New York artist space ABC No Rio (or perhaps from California) that assembles submissions from contributors that blend clip art, xerox art, collage, poetry and essays.…Our speculation about ABC No Rio is based on it being purchased with other items from the space. Anti-Reagan, pro-Central American rebels, anti-capitalism and anarchist themes abound. The general tone feels rather apocalyptic, perhaps reflecting the mood of youth in a Reagan administration. One page, with art depicting bombs being dropped, predicts November 13, 2026 as doomsday. Buy this before then! GOOD+ condition. Light toning and edgewear. Minor staining along the lower front cover.
