The author challenges traditional music teaching methods, arguing that their unnecessary complexities hinder students' progress and that they overlook a simple and natural approach to the subject. Instead, this book offers a method based on the natural scale, which the author says contains all the sounds and intervals that can be furnished by the so-called minor scale. Concepts are explained clearly and intelligibly to all, avoiding unnecessary burdens on the student and teacher alike. The author believes everyone can sing and play music, and offers this method as a way to make that happen. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
