Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book documents the proceedings of the 1886 annual meeting of The American Institute of Electrical Engineers, founded in 1884. Members present elected officers for the ensuing year as well as discussed and voted on a range of topics, including the use of the new English Standard Wire Gauge, potential locations for their permanent headquarters, and the need for more regular monthly meetings to discuss contemporary topics in the field of electrical engineering. The record concludes with the Secretaryâs report on the Institutionâs activities over the last year. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
