Boxed set of 5-Newbery-award-winning children's book in trade paperback editions: 1) Strawberry Girl, by Lois Lenski; 2) Thimble Summer, by Elizabeth Enright; 3) A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle; 4) Roller Skates, by Ruth Sawyer; & 5) The Twenty-One Balloons, by William Pene du Bois. All books are Near Fine & appear never read! NO wear, covers bright, completely clean, NO writing or highlighting or underlining; NOT ex-lib. Only "Wrinkle" shows a tiny bit of spine creasing. All pages are modestly tanned, heavier around edges, commensurate with age. The box that houses the books is downgraded to VG- (minus) due to light soil, foxing, 1 scrape, slight wear to corners.
