Quarter-bound, smooth yellow paper and burgundy textured paper. Stamped gilt titling on spine. Very clean except for small, diminished mark on the front. Sharp corners. Pages are clean though there is a previous owner's writing on free front end page. Jacket is in nice condition. It has a laminated backing for sturdiness. No separations, very little edge wear. Bernadette Vigil provided a lovely desert scene in yellow/brown tones on the front. The rear contains an excerpt from the book. This is one of Mr. Anaya's spiritual fables, a search for human understanding. Signed by Author(s).
