Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Very Good Minus. 865pp. (blue & red spine) 4to. small sized. 1982. First edition. A very good, clean, tight copy in very good minus jacket. Original publisher's blue cloth boards - silver embossed to the spine and to the front board. No inscriptions. Some light spotting to the upper fore-edge. An… original receipt (£27.50 or £106 in today's money) is loosely inserted. The text supported by numerous formulae/graphs/diagrams etc. Original publisher's burgundy ribbon paged divider present and called for. The jacket has not been price-clipped. The jacket has some rubbing to the peripheries and around 3 short tears, which have been expertly repaired. It also has some shelf wear. A very good copy of a scarce work in very good minus jacket. Please note that this copy has a dust jacket on it - unlike the one in the library photograph.
