Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). This book is in top-notch condition. Take a look at the photos. The covers are exceptionally clean. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. The corners and edges look perfect. There is a tiny nick at the top edge of the s…pine and a little bit of rubbing/crinkling at the bottom edge of the spine (see fifth photo). This book is square, straight, and very solidly bound from cover to cover, no binding issues. The pages look terrific. They are exceptionally clean. I didn't see any soiling at all. I didn't see any creasing or dogeared corners. There are no markings. There are no attachments (it is NOT ex-library). And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in this book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It doesn't have any soiling at all. It does have toning/darkening at the margins and on the spine. It also has a little crinkling at the top edge of the front cover, a tiny tear/nick at the top edge of the spine, a tiny tear off the top edge at the juncture between the rear cover and the spine, and a tiny bit of loss off the bottom edge of the spine. The jacket is NOT price-clipped and will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. 'This book is an exceedingly useful adjunct to the study of the Christological controversies in the fifth century.'.
