Book looks almost new in red boards with gilt lettering on spine - apart from marks on front and back end-papers. Dust jacket looks well-worn, with discolouring and some chipping at top, crease on back. The author was better-known as a poet, 'Days' being his first work of fiction - in slightly experimental form, it's in the form of a diary kept by a bisexual middle-aged writer when his wife starts a relationship with his former, male lover, exploring the tangled complications of a three-way relationship.
