Fianchetto systems are Stephan's favorites and he takes you through some extraordinary encounters against chess's best as he explores the Sicilian, King's Indian, Pirc, and Modern Defenses amongst others.

Very slight rubbing to covers that is consistent with minimal shelfwear. Light to moderate freckled foxing to edges of text block. Some sparse, faint spots of foxing to initial and final pages of book. Interior is otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding firm with no creases or cracks. . Soft Cover. Very Good.

Exterior 'mostly' looks about like new, but there appears to have been a coffee spill (light stain noticeable along fore-edge of back cover). Light stain within to the appx last 80 pages of the text (from the fore-edge in, with some effects to a bit of the type and diagrams, but again, very light). A little waviness from the moisture affects most if not all of the book (minor or a little worse at the rear, with decreasing effects towards the front of the book). Includes correspondence chess.
