From the catalogue: "The following collection of books illustrated by George Cruikshank (1792-1878) and other important nineteenth-century illustrators reflects the era's predilection for illustration well. This collection is also notable for the number of works it contains which have either survived in their original paper wrappers, or have been preserved in fine bindings by celebrated companies such as Sangorski and Sutcliffe, Bayntun-Riviere and Zaehnsdorf. Many of the books are extra-illustrated with india proofs.". Some prices marked, some text highlighted in yellow, otherwise Good. Printout of prices realized laid in.
