This is a set of the two volumes edited by Philpot's son Dr J H Philpot and issued by Farncombe in the early 1930s, PLUS the third volume in similar binding edited by S F Paul and issued by St Christopher Press in 1960. Vol 1 is the improved 1931 second impression with index, appendix, and extra pictures (the first impression appears to have been 1930). The material is an account of Philpot's life and the magazine Gospel Standard, along with letters of William Tiptaft and of J C Philpot. Vol 3 contais a short biography of Philpot from his Oakham and Stamford Pastorate to his death, and material about the Gospel Standard magazine and the Gospel Standard churches; Letters 117-273 of Philpot; and appendices about Philpot and his wife and daughters.
