Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Roy Tunnicliffe (illustrator). First British Ed. The author has woven the strands of this story with consummate skill. There is the lore of ancient Britain, the layers of symbolic meaning, and the experience of strength struggling against evil and secret knowledge., and a love story as old as time. A wonderful read. The book is in very goog condition, with very minor soiling due to age and slightly turned corners, but these can hardly be seen. The jacket is showing signs of wear, to top and front edges. The spine is rubbed and there is a tear of 3/4 inch to one side of the top spine and a smaller one 1/4 inch to the other. One crease to centre. As the book is now in a protected clear jacket, these faults are not as noticable. Fabulous cover artwork, which is very evocative to the era. there is the remains of a price label to the front. Book.
