Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Black cover; 19 chapters; b/w portraits on plates; small, b/w illustrations, in-text. The spine strip is cracked because of having been glued to the text block's spine. Most of the boards' corners and spots on the bottom edges are threadbare. The endpapers and a few pages are chipped. The first 80 pages have bend lines. Some of those pages and a few others have small stains. The plates have varying degrees of water stain. Scans e-mailed upon request.
