Limited to 100 numbered copies. Printed wrappers, 8vo, [4] pp. From the introductory note - "Elizabeth Siddal was discovered in a milliner's shop by the Pre-raphaelite painter Walter Deverell in 1850. She was immediately appropriated by Rossetti, and they became inseparable. They married after an interval of ten turbulent years. Rossetti encouraged her to write poetry and to paint. Ruskin declared that she possessed elements of genius. The three examples printed here of her small surviving body of work show her preoccupation with sorrowful love, sickness and neglect, and a premonition of her early death in 1862. Copy No. 17. Good.
