Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. 1765 Life of David Brainerd Jonathan Edwards | Native American Missionary The Life of David Brainerd is a biographical account of the famous evangelical missionary by theologian Jonathan Edwards. Edwards took Brainerd s personal diary and edited and published it as a report on Brainerd s missions to the Native Americans in Delaware and New Jersey. While Edwards left most of the diary intact, he changed a large portion of the work to present Brainerd as the antithesis to Arminianism. Life had a major influence on the way that Native Americans were portrayed to the American and English public. Seller: Librairie Montréal, Saint-Césaire, QC, Canada
Couverture rigide. Condition: Bon.
