Octavo, 8 1/2" tall, 23 text pages (complete) and 48 blank pages (???), marbled endpapers, three-quarter red morocco over marble boards. A good copy only, front hinge broken, front endpapaper loose, internal binding solid, paper clean and lightly yellowed; exterior worn at all edges, back strip chipped at top and bottom edges, fore-corner tips worn through. The reason for the blank pages is not clear and no explanation was found in our Swinburne reference. Needs binding restoration and priced accordingly.

In 1905, he introduced a bill for women's suffrage, which was talked out. He received a knighthood.
