x, 256pp, maps, some in colour, tables etc 25x16, wraps. Good, report name in ink on spine. The Committee was established in 1967 to examine whether or not the focus of Government investment into the Development Areas was overlooking - or making worse - economic decline in other parts of the country. Two of work and a great deal of statistical analysis came to the conclusion that the Committee weren't sure - there were dissenting opinions and other 'reservations' included in the final report. However the tables and maps are very good.
