XXIV, 288 S., [1] Doppel-Bl. überwiegend Abbildungen. Die von Max Ernst im Stein signierte Originallithographie auf Vélin d'Arches ist als Doppelblatt eingebunden. Ln. m. OSchu. Der Oschu ist doppelt, daher ist der innere Oschu komplett sauber. Die inneren Ränder der Deckel sind bräunlich verfärbt (Leim?). Wenige Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Das Papier des Buchblocks ist am Rand - der Papierqualität wegen - leicht gedunkelt. Den 1500 Exemplaren der 1. Auflage dieses Kataloges (daraus ist vorliegendes Exemplar) ist eine von Max Ernst im Stein signierte Originallithographie auf Vélin d'Arches beigegeben. Darüber hinaus wurde eine Vorzugsausgabe von 79 Exemplaren (1-79) gedruckt. Sie enthält zusätzlich, als Fronzispiz eingebunden, eine von Max Ernst signierte und numerierte Variante der Lithographie auf Japan-Papier. Den Druck der Lithographien besorgte Pierre Chave in Vence.
