The faintly toned contents are clean throughout. Signed and dated by Liz Lockhead on the title page. This is was her first collection, and marked the start of a prolific and bright career. Lochhead served as the Poet Laureate for Scotland from 2005-2011, before becoming the Scots Makar, or National Poet of Scotland, from 2011-2016.
