This intriguing time-lapse triptych of original photographs documents the wreck damage, reconstruction,… and restoration of Dr. Hyde's 1925 Buick Model 25-26 Standard Service Coupe, usually sold with an inline-six cylinder engine, manual 3-speed transmission, wood-spoke wheels, and other amenities. This one was owned by Dr. Jerry Hyde (1860-1943) longtime physician in Athens, and Nelsonville, OH, who also served as physician for the Ohio State Hospital for the Insane in Athens, OH. Cullums (1877-1963) started his career in West Virginia, was photographer for the US Navy, and by the mid-1920's had established his photo studio in Athens, OH.
