Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Kunstverlag Weingarten / Verlag Der Kunst. Dresden. 1990. 211 pages. First edition, first printing. Dual text in both English and German. Signed, dated and inscribed by Walter Rosenblum on November 9, 1999 at the opening reception of his one man show at the James Howe Gallery, at Kean University, in Union, New Jersey. This show came one year after Walter Rosenblum received a Lifetime Achievement Award from ICP. Included are two additional pieces; one an 8x10 inch accordion-style brochure of 8 panels, with images and write-up by the curator of the show. Also included is an additional brochure listing the 40 images presented at the show, with a write-up by the exhibit's curator. Book is fine; DJ is too, just a tiny faint scratch (barely) at base of spine. Rosenblum photographed the World War II D-Day landing at Normandy in 1944, and was the first Allied photographer to enter the liberated Dachau concentration camp. His works also included incredible images from NYC's Lower East Side, as well as the South Bronx. Fine/Near fine; signed, with additional ephemera. Additional shipping fees for International Shipping. Signed by Author(s).
