This narrative tells how a group of angels descend to the earth and fornicate with human women. This unnatural union causes a race of giants to be born and ravage the earth. The four archangels then intercede on behalf of the ravaged earth and stir the Most High into action. Whilst judgements are pronounced upon the sinful angels and their giant progeny, particulary the angel Asael, salvation from the impending deluge and the joys of a restored earth are promised to the righteous progeny of the son of Lamech.".

January, 1936 issue (Volume VII, Number 1). 10 1/8" x 7 1/8", illustrated wrappers, 64 pp. with illustrations and photographs (nudes). Cover artist is uncredited, but is certainly either Enoch Bolles or George Quintana (see scan). Over-eighteen purchase only. Sturdy condition; some spine loss with chip toward bottom and slits at top and bottom, bit of cover soiling, fold at rear cover top left corner. Pages toned at margins but quite supple. Quite bright and unsoiled compared to typical examples. A strong Very Good, perhaps better. A scarce issue from of a thirties girlie mag which is in fact scarce throughout its 7-year run (1931-1937). A classic from a classic genre, collectible both for its cover (by either of the equally enigmatic Enoch Bolles and George Quintana) but also for its standard-fare contents: 16 full-page B&W nude photographs, soft (by today's standards) erotica short stories, and B&W illustrations for those stories which are often rather art-deco-y and rather collectible in their own right. With the exception of the occasional signed cover, the illustrations in this genre were generally unsigned and uncredited, and the authors of the stories were pseudonymic; while the genre was certainly not "indecent" enough to be banned, these magazines were not something most artists, photographers and authors particularly wanted credit for at that time.
