Essentially all volumes very good indeed, clean and handsome. A uniform reprint set of a collection of works originally published in the late 1970's-Early 1980's by Zecharia Sitchin, one of the earliest exponents of Alternative Archaeology, whose widely discredited beliefs included the idea that the Anunnaki (a early Sumerian/Babylonian pantheon of deities) were extra-terrestrial travellers from a dying world called Nibiru, who had arrived on earth and founded the basis of human civilization. His theories, mostly in defiance of accepted archaeological knowledge were unsurprisingly rejected by professionals, but gained a following among adherents of other alternative explorers like Velikovsky and Von Daniken, and found their heirs in people like Graham Hancock. This sizeable collection comprises essentially an alternative history of planet Earth, and contains a number of theories that have gained traction in the fields of alternative research in recent years, as well as inspiring a lot of pop culture, most notably the "Stargate" franchise.
