[Likely America.] 1909. 11½ x 14½ inches. Scattered spotting; very good. Textile sampler illustrating various needlework techniques, likely made as a student exercise by a young woman. The sampler is signed and dated: "E H 1909." Techniques shown include hemming, marking, insetting of panels, and drawn thread embroidery. One technique is shown both obverse and reverse.
