From Father Tuck's Play and Pleasure series A. B. C. Presentation copy from Geraldine Hatch to L. Cabot, a merry Christmas, 1915. 8vo, 10pp, 4 color illustrations. Other animals and flowers pictured include: lambs, albatross, eagle, fowls, fox, geranium, heron, ichneumon, ibis, jay, jasmine, linnet, lily, otter, monkey, nightingale, orange blossom, owl, pig, poppy, thrush, thistle, urchin, wolf, wren, vulture and violet. Pictorial linen wrappers and pages ("untearable linen") with title in blue and red on light green front cover. Covers bright and fresh, very good + condition.

Paperback is bound in the Japanese concertina style, unpaginated [approx. 30pp]. Thirteenth of the Clover Hill Editions. One of 75 copies on paper hand-made by Barcham Green in 1937, bound in limp vellum, numbered I to LXXV and signed by the artist, with an extra set of the wood-engravings printed on Gampi Japon, in a slipcase of patterned fabric designed by Enid Marx. This is number XXV. The extra wallet of engravings is presented on the title sheet as "32 wood engravings by Enid Marx, printed on Gampi Japon comprising 26 engravings for the 26 letters, 2 discarded engravings and 4 alternative designs for the fabric"; there are 31 sheets of engravings, one of which features two designs, and a title sheet. Slipcase is very tight. Otherwise near fine condition.
