This jubilant Christmas ABC celebrates the religious themes of Christmas, with words such as "advent," "hallelujah," "frankincense," and "peace on earth." With one letter represented per page, Moore has artfully taken familiar holiday terms and expressed them calligraphically with illumination in watercolors, gold, and silver. Very fine in violet silk brocade, tied with a ribbon. Housed in a handmade paper sleeve, cleverly tied with a ribbon so that it may be used as an ornament. An elegant little manuscript by one of America's leading scribes. 2 x 1 7/8 in. One of twenty-six copies, signed by Moore.
