      Full-Leather. Condition: Very Good. 249pp, leather covered boards, worn to the edges of the spine. No title page but the engraved frontispiece illustration by A Scott is dated 1793. Previous names in pencil, the front gutter weak but holding, a couple of light spots of foxing to the preliminary pages, otherwise internally very clean. Vol II covers numbers 71 to 105. The Adventurer was the bi-weekly successor to The Rambler. The essays were written by Dr John Hawkesworth, with considerable assistance from his friends Dr Johnson and Joseph Warton.
