Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. A booklet issued on the occasion of the formal opening of the new Oxford University Press building in Fair Lawn, New Jersey on April 24, 1956. Includes a short history of Oxford Press in the UK, plus their history in the United States. This copy is from the library and collection of Frederic Melcher (New York) - with a label on the front cover attesting to this. Label also includes an inscription that reads: "From the Library of Books about Books". (Label is a bit frayed near the corners.) Measures 6" x 9" with 29 + pages; calligraphy by Lili Cassel. Browning edges due to age, lower right-hand corner of the front cover has a tiny missing piece. None of these have any impact on the overall piece which is in generally excellent condition.
