Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. First Edition. Beige, singlefold program with light general wear and aging. There is also bleedthrough from all three signatures. This program was from a concert by Alberta Hunter at Baird Auditorium in the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. The concert was part of the Smithsonian Institution Jazz Heritage Series. This program is signed on the inside of the first page by Hunter with a generica inscription, "Best Wishes." It is signed on the front by pianist, Gerald Cook, who was also a jazz composer, and by bassist, Jimmy Lewis who has sketched an upright bass and written "Bass." Lewis played with Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole and many others. Nice collection of jazz and blues-related autographs. ; B&W Photograph; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 4 pages.
