Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Oblong autograph album size about 8 by 5 inches. Bound in color decorated red cloth. Copyright date of 1878 but the dates shown by the signers are from about 1884 to 1889. Book belonged to Homer Kaulback of Quincy , California (Plumas County)and some 28 of the pages have entries from relatives and friends. An early California autograph album. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Original full red morocco leather, with a blank chrome nameplate on front board, rounded corners, all edges gilt, nice full color title page, in-text line drawings, 7 x 8 3/8 x 1/2 inches. Very good. Bit of scuffing, mainly on and adjacent to spine, light soil on boards, only one entry (1892) , probably a gift inscription, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, blank and unmarked. Victorian. (Shelved in biography section).
