Title page printed in black and gray. Printed by C. C. Meinhold & Söhne G.m.b.H. in Dresden, responsible for the four color guilloche of the linoleum and known printer for high quality lithographic posters. Beautifully illustrated with sixteen color offset reproductions of decorative linoleum floor patterns., including one full page color print of the Delmenhorst Linoleum Factory in Delmenhorst. The brief introduction emphasizes Delmenhorst as being traditionally the home of a seizable cork and linoleum industry, cork being an important raw material for the production of linoleum. The catalog introduces the various types of linoleum and gives color illustrated examples of linoleum floors in entrance halls of public and private buildings, a dining room, a study, a bedroom and a nursery, including brief descriptive texts. In addition the catalog features nine variant and intricate designs for linoleum floor covers, some of them with references to the designing artist, e.g. R. Riemenschmid, J. Hillerbrand, Albin Müller, the architects W. Krüger and Carl Eeg and Professor Josef Hoffmann, the famous Austrian architect and product designer and cofounder of the Wiener Werkstätte.
