(1903); 6 3/4 x 5 1/4; pp. 1-40; stapled, pictorial wraps in off-white and red; illustrated with a woodcut, photographs, and drawings; small, closed cuts to tips of spine; a few minor creases; in very good condition.A wonderful work on Apache beadwork and embroidery to be created with the Apache Beadwork Loom, it included designs for wrist bags, sautoir chains, cigar cases, etc.

Colour-illustrated softcovers, cover art of Apache woman seated w/ beaded garment, next to woven baskets, beaded purse on back cover (minor chipping head & foot of spine, minor closed tears), still G copy, w/ advertising circular laid-in for the Apache Beadwork Loom [2 pp.], slight age toning, still NF. First edition of this uncommon sales catalogue on Apache Indian beadwork, with instructions on how to use Isaac Allen's Apache Beadwork loom in decorating tassels, card cases, purses, chatelaines, wrist bags, and more with beadwork. These were not only marketed through mail order, but the beads, looms, and instruction catalogues such as these, and even finished products, were also available to visitors at Indian Trading Posts in the New Mexico, Arizona, & Oklahoma Apache and Navajo reservations.
