Softcover. Condition: vg+. First edition. Oblong octavo. Unpaginated [32 pages]. Pink illustrated staple-bound wrappers, with black lettering on the front cover. This promotional brochure is a survey of the Arava (Arabah) region in southern Israel. The wrappers shows a map of the region, which runs from Dead Sea in the north to Eilat and the Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea) to the south. The booklet is profusely illustrated with b/w photographic reproductions throughout, depicting the various sites, towns, settlements and kibbutzim that run the length of the valley, ordered from north to south. Locations include, Massada, Ein Gedi, Yotvata, the Timna Region, Elot and Eilat, among many others. Errata slip laid in at the back. Text and captions in English. Wrappers with some minor rubbing and creasing to extremities. Interior with a few sporadic minor creases. Wrappers and interior in very good+ condition overall. Protect by modern mylar. Scarce.
