Hardcover. Condition: Good. Green boards with gilt lettering at spine and front cover. Boards are thumbed at the edges and subsequently showing some discolouration. Head and tail of spine bumped. Some rubbing and scuff marks, front and back. Binding is neat and tidy. Contents page signed by Thomas Ritchie, who was on the Technical Reference Committee responsible for compiling much of the data in this book, and for whom this volume was specially bound. Also includes letter to Thomas Ritchie from C. Lovett-Gill, President of the Architectural Organisation which states "This present issue of the Diary may be regarded as the real beginning of the series, and some of us thought that it would interest you to have a copy specially bound, in order to keep as a memento and as a very slight indication of the gratitude whic we feel we owe you.". Page edges are lightly discoloured and foxed, so too the occasioanl page throughout, otherwise this book is in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
