During her lifetime she donated her collections of invertebrate fauna to the British Museum of Natural History (now the Natural History Museum), including specimens of foraminfera (single-celled organisms with an internal shell found abundantly as fossils) and bryzoa (microscopic aquatic invertebrates that live in colonies).
