Lorna Reynolds (1911-2003) lectured English at University College Dublin. In 1966 she became Professor in Modern English at University College Galway. She wrote poetry and a critical biography of Kate O'Brien with whom she was a good friend. At UCD among her contemporaries were Flann O'Brien, Mary Lavin, Cyril Cusack. Among her European colleagues were Jean Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir and others. She was a good cook and a frequent visitor to Italy. She was a highly respected educator, lecturer and a forceful personality. Herself and Kate O'Brien were close friends. Signed by Author.

Condition: Fine. pfas99 This is an antique 6" x 4" pre printed signed photo for Joan Collins that appears to date from the 1950s - please note signature is pre printed but is in blue ink so appears by hand - it is unused with a little light surface to allow but overall is great condition - reads on reverse how she is star of the Arthur Rank Organization.
