Paperback. Condition: Fine. Soft Cover. Fleetway Editions Limited 1990s. Book condition: VF - Very Fine. A collection of 'Thunderbirds' (7 issues), 'Captain Scarlet' (10 issues) and 'Stingray' (1 issue) magazines in great condition. Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons was a British science fiction television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and filmed by their production company Century 21 Productions for distributor ITC Entertainment. It is one of several Anderson series that were filmed using a form of electronic marionette puppetry dubbed "Supermarionation" combined with scale model special effects sequences. Thunderbirds The Comic was a comic published by Fleetway. The first issue went on sale on October 19th 1991. The editor was Alan Fennell, who was previously the original editor for TV Century 21 in the 1960s, as well as a scriptwriter on the original Thunderbirds television show. Stingray was well into its first run on British Television by the time TV Century 21 appeared on the newsstands, and for this reason it was the star strip. TV Century 21 was announced in the trade press as the series premiered on British television, and screenings of an episode were the main feature at launch parties for the comic in December 1964. Size: 9" x 12" (225mm x 300mm). (1.2 ASSMARIONSET01).
