Deutscher Maler und Grafiker. 1961-65 Lehre zum Gebrauchswerber und Reproduktionsfotografen. 1969-74 Studium an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden (HfBK). 1974-77 Meisterschüler bei Gerhard Bondzin. Seit 1977 freischaffend tätig; Mitglied des Verbandes Bildender Künstler. Seit 2002 Dozent an der freien Akademie in Bad Reichenhall.
